This blog was started by Andrew “Muskie” McKay who is somewhat well known for quotations.  He’s also been blogging for too long and that’s resulted in Muskblog and Muschamp.ca becoming a bit unfocused.  This blog is intended to be a more elegant solution for sharing various favourite song lyrics.  This blog is intended to be minimalist, very much like some of the Tumblr blogs you see. I decided to stick with WordPress as I have years of experience with that technology.

The hardest part was finding a good URL.  ”Tower of Song” was taken, the URL for this blog and the tag line come from a Ron Sexsmith song entitled “This Song”.  I’m going to try hard not to post anything but song lyrics, economy in writing isn’t something that comes easily to me.  I’m torn about links and video clips, I think finding out more about the songwriter will be left as an exercise for the reader.  I’m also going to try and schedule posts as I’ve already spent years collecting quotations including many, many, song lyrics.
